MRS. SHARON A. NICHOLS
Funeral for Mrs. Sharon A. Nichols, 37, 1387 Rona Dr., will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church.
Mrs. Nichols was found dead Saturday afternoon near Galesburg, the apparent victim of a shooting.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Foley-Watson Mortuary, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Burial will be In Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the church building fund, the family said.
The former Sharon Guardalabene was born Sept. 25, 1940, in Galesburg.
She married Richard Nichols here in August 1959. They were divorced.
Surviving are a son, Gregory, at home; her father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. James Guardalabene. Tubac. Ariz.; her mother, Mrs. John Wheeler, LaPlata, Mo., and a brother, Michael Paul Guardalabene, Cooper City, Fla.
Mrs. Nichols was employed by the Admiral Appliance Division of Rockwall International She attended Galesburg schools, and was graduated from Galesburg High School in 1959.
