In Memory

Marlene Hanson (Brewer)

An autopsy Monday revealed a rural Bloomington woman, found dead near Twin Grove Road and Gertie Lane, died of cold exposure. 72 year old Marlene Brewer, who lived on Twin Grove Road, was located about an eighth of a mile from her home in a drainage ditch. The coroner says there is no evidence of assault or other related injury. The coroner says whether Marlene interntionally wandered away from her home or was disoriented remains under investigation. Early information suggests Marlene does have a neurological disorder that may have played a role in the circumstances surrounding her death and she was not dressed for cold weather conditions.
