Louise Coleman (Britton)

LOUSE BRITTON

GALESBURG - Louise Britton, 49, 550 Monmouth Blvd., died at 12:10 p m Sunday (Nov. 25, 1990) in St. Mary Medical Center.

She was born March 30, 1941 in Atmore Ala., the daughter of R.C. and Zora Herbert Coleman. She married Fred Q. Britton Sr. on Dec. 10, 1960. In Galesburg.

Surviving are her husband her mother, Zora Coleman, Galesburg, three sons, Fred Britton Jr. and Jon Britton, both of Galesburg and Clay Britton in the U S Army at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., five brothers, Henry Coleman, Jimmy Cole­man, Morris Coleman, Doris Cole­man and Horace Coleman, all of Galesburg, two sisters, Frances Lighter, Bell Glade, Fla., and Ola Cunningham, Galesburg, and six grandchildren.

She was graduated from Galesburg High School in 1959. She worked at Protexall Inc. from 1972 to 1989.

She was a member of Second Baptist Church where she was Sunday School Superintendent and a teacher.

Funeral will be at 11 am Thursday, in Second Baptist Church with the Rev. L.G. Trammell officiating. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p m at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Home. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the family said.
