Jean Gibbs

Jean Ann Gibbs 1942-2005 Wednesday, September 28, 2005 BALTIMORE, Md. - Jean Ann Gibbs, 63, Baltimore, died Monday (Sept. 26, 2005) in British Columbia. She was born Jan. 19, 1942, in Galesburg, Ill., the daughter of Leslie and Lorraine Gibbs. Surviving are her mother of Galesburg; a daughter, Julie Kellam, Baltimore; a son, Jeff Kellam, Cedar Park, Texas; a sister, Patricia (and Jack) Riley, Ocala, Fla.; and nieces and nephews. Local family include Irene Sherman and Betty Reed, both of Knoxville, Ill.; JoAnn (and Dewey) Clark, Gilson, Ill.; and Gloria (and Bill) McNett, Washington, Ill. She was preceded in death by her father. She attended Drake University and was employed as executive secretary by Travel Destinations in Baltimore. She was of Christian faith. She was an avid bridge player and a member and past president of the Volkswalkers in Baltimore. She had just completed a trip to China with other walkers who walked along the Great Wall of China. Memorial service will be at a later date in Maryland.
