Robert L. Hess, Nobuko Hess
AURORA - Robert L Hess, 56, 528 Price Road, died Saturday (Aug 16, 1997) in Wyoming of injuries he received in an automobile accident.
His wife, the former Nobuko Isa, also died in the accident. They were married April 8, 1964, in Okinawa, Japan. He was born Dec 24, 1940, in Galesburg, the son of Lewis and June Hess.
Surviving are one daughter, Cindy Hess, Aurora; two sons, Lewis and Scott Hess, both serving m the Air Force; one sister, Marilyn Hiller, Knoxville, one brother, Charles Hess, Galesburg, and two grandchildren.
He was graduated from Galesburg High School in 1959.
He was an Air Force veteran.
He was a software engineer for the Federal Aviation Administration in Aurora.
Arrangements are pending at Daleiden Mortuary, Aurora.
Memorials may be made to an animal rights organization of the donor’s choice.
