Linda C. Sage
NAUVOO — Linda C. Sage, 62, Nauvoo, died Friday (Oct. 3. 2003) in Blessing Hospital, Quincy.
She was born Aug. 31, 1941, in Ft. Madison, Iowa, the daughter of Ivan and Vivian Lyon.
She married Gary E. Sage on Jan. 13, 1961, in Tampa Fla.
Surviving are her husband; two sons. Steve (and Patty) Sage. Frederick, Okla., Bryan (and Michelle) Sage, Keokuk, Iowa; a brother. Larry (and Kim) Lyon, Galesburg; and three grandchildren.
She graduated from Galesburg High School in 19S9 and from Southeastern Community College School of Nursing in 1981.
She worked as a nurse for 20 years at Ft. Madison Hospital, Fruehauf Mfg. and Intercorp Insurance. She retired five years ago.
She was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Nauvoo.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Tony Trosley officiating. Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lamporte Funeral Home, Nauvoo; family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m., with the rosary recited at 7. Burial will be in Nauvoo City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to her church.

Oh, my gosh the times we did have together with Carol Nelson & Joan Myers...walking to and from Lombard...then to GHS.........Linda and Carol joined us in 4th grade at Douglas School...Joanie and I were there from 1st grade on..............then Dixie Beghtol...she didn't live in the 7th ward where Linda, Carol, Joan and I lived....We have so many memories and pictures to help those memories...such good times....as rembered now, but maybe not so good back then....
