GENE E. OAKLEY
DOWNERS GROVE - Gene E. Oakley, 45, Downers Grove, died June 12, 1987, in his home.
He was born in Peoria Nov. 11, 1941. He married Judith Ann Brockschmidt.
Surviving are his wife; his father, Roy S. Oakley, Galesburg; two sons, Jeff Oakley and Bryan Oakley, Downers Grove; one daughter, Chris Oakley, Downers Grove; and one brother, Jack E. Oakley, Galesburg.
He lived in Downers Grove for 21 years, and was an architect with Lindquist-Oakley, Downers Grove.
Funeral was June 14 in Gloria Del Lutheran Church, Downers Grove. Cremation rites were accorded.
Adams-Winterfield Funeral Home, Downers Grove, was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the West Town Hospice, Berwyn, the family said.
