In Memory

Duane Lawson

Duane Lawson

Reginald "Duane" Lawson made his way to Heaven on December 16, 2023, at the age of 83. He was born in Washington, Iowa and was the youngest of four children to Reginald L. Lawson and Dorothea Lawson (Seydel). Duane was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend.

Duane was known for his outgoing and funny personality. He had a great sense of humor and always brought laughter to those around him. He was a loving, family-oriented man, cherishing the time spent with his loved ones.

In his career, Duane was a dedicated and hardworking salesperson who believed the customer came first.

Duane had a passion for golf and enjoyed spending time on the golf course. He also had a love for theatre and had a special fondness for performing in local theater, including shows like "Mama Mia" and "1776". He was actively involved in coaching Little League when his children were young. Duane had a talent for singing karaoke and church choirs, and his favorite song to perform was "My Way."

Reginald will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, including his wife of 58 years, Rosemary Lawson (Pilon), his son Reginald Mark (Dianna), his daughter Natalie Kay Kranzman (Ken), grandchildren Reginald Tyler and Jamie Lynne Lawson, Avery Regina and Aaron Mason Kranzman, his sisters Pat Carruthers and Olive Colwell (Larry). He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Regina Marie Lawson, his parents, and his brother Frederick Dean Lawson.

Duane found solace and community at Delafield Presbyterian, where he worshipped. He cherished the time spent there and the connections he made.

A celebration of life for Duane will take place at a later date to honor and remember the wonderful life he lived.

Please join us in remembering and celebrating the life of Reginald Duane Lawson. He will forever be in our hearts and memories.
