Robert Traff

Robert Eugene "Bob" Traff, 75, passed away on September 9, 2017. He was an Air Force veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He was a proud U of L fan, loved horse racing, hunting, fishing and dreamed of winning the lottery to share. Bob cared for his family deeply and his strong will to live, never faded. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dorothy Traff and brother, Ronnie Traff.

Bob is survived by his lifelong partner, Patricia Traff; children, Paul (Rhonda) Traff, Patrick ( Christie) Traff and Paula (Sean) O'Bryan; grandchildren, Danielle Miller, Kellie Traff, P.J. Traff, Lakin Traff, Patrick Traff, Jr. Sean, Tyler, Alex and Ahren O'Bryan; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Alaina, Kolten, Jayden, Gunner, Dion, Keegan, Liam and Leila; brothers, Dick, Donnie and John and sisters, Sandy, Nancy, Debbie, Terrie.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions Southwest, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 11am-1pm with a celebration of Bob's life beginning at 1pm.

Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Ann, the nurse, on the 5th floor at the VA Hospital for taking extra special care of Bob.
