Marilyn R. Miller (Linze)

Marilyn R. Linze, 70, Galesburg died at 8:06 pm, Wednesday May 16, 2012 in Heartland Health Care Center.
She was born November 15, 1941 in Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of Armon B. and Marjorie McAlister Miller.
She is survived by two sons, Randy D. Linze of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Ted (Christa) Linze of Miami, Fla.; her sister, Janine (Bobby) Baker of Southern Pines, NC; and five grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a sister.
Marilyn worked as a medical transcriptionist for OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg for 11 years and for Baptist Health Systems in Miami, Fla. for 19 years. She retired in 2006. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1959. She lived in Galesburg from 1952-1960, she then moved to Monmouth, followed by a move to Miami for 19 years before settling back to Galesburg in 2006. Marilyn was of the Lutheran faith. She volunteered for OSF St. Mary Medical Center. She loved to garden, knit and crafts.
Private family services will be held in East Linwood Cemetery.
