Joyce, I hope you had a wonderful birthday. I was just thinking about you last week when I was reminiscing with someone about us living across the street from one another;;; You couldn't leave for school each morning until you mopped the kitchen floor!!! What training we had as young children that many of us (me) didn't always follow through with as adults!!
Deepest sympathies to the remaining family of David. I remember him from GHS.

I also want to say we had a nice "short" picnic/visit with Bill Bogard last week Monday! He cooked hot dogs and some brought other things to eat. We just barely got started eating when the storm came up. He's not doing very well. Roger Swartz' brother, Bob, is looking in on him a couple times a week, as they are friends. Many prayers requested for peace for Bill! Thanks!

Lorene Hoots Hicks called me yesterday to say she had hip replacement surgery Monday or Tuesday this week and will be in the hospital for about 3 weeks, counting the 2 weeks for rehab. I suggested she might like cards and she said a resounding "YES!!" as well as she could! She asked to have them sent to her home and would I please give her address to those who want to do that. Today I received a "Thank You" note from our other scholarship recipient! Good to know that, late or not, it was appreciated. I imagine things really slowed down this year with all that's going on! : (
And if it hasn't been noted anywhere before now....... THE ANNUAL PICNIC SCHEDULED FOR THE SECOND SATURDAY OF AUGUST HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR THIS YEAR DUE TO WHAT'S HAPPENING HEALTH-WISE!! IT WAS SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 8th. WE WILL SHOOT FOR NEXT YEAR!!

We received a lovely "Thank You" note from Emma Hawkinson yesterday. She was our female recipient of one of our $1000 scholarship awards this year. This is only the third person that has done that since I have been involved with the scholarships. It's wonderful to know that parents are still teaching their children to do these things!
My condolences to Darrell's family. I remember him as being a quiet individual at school as well as others. May he rest in peace and his family be thankful for having him as a relative! Blessings!

It's another sad day for our class as Darrell Fields passed away this week! He was another of those who was very quiet, as I remember.
I remember Paul as a very quiet and reserved person and didn't know him that well but certainly do remember him. My condolences to his family and those close to him.
To all those whose birthdays I have missed saying "Happy Birthday" to.........my sincerest apologies! I think of many of you each and every day and good old school days! Do stay safe and well through these tough times and I hope to see many of you when we gather again..........MAY IT BE SOMETIME IN AUGUST!! Nothing planned as of yet!!! Waiting to see.

Took a few photos of our BEAUTIFUL April snowfall. Looks like about 5 inches of the very light fluffy stuff!! I'm sure it's a record-breaker!!
Many, many good and best wishes to ALL who have recently celebrated another year; it truly IS cause to celebrate with what's happening all around us today!! Most of all it's a good reason because of how far we have come in this life!!! Love to all of you and my wishes for safety as well.
