EUGENE H. CARLTON
Eugene H. Carlton. 32, of 887 E. Third St., died Friday at 12:06 am. Nov. 9, 1973, at Cottage Hospital.
He was born here Sept. 28. 1941. He attended Galesburg schools and was graduated from Galesburg High School. He was employed as a welder at Midwest Manufacturing Co. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 518 and Ralph M. Noble American Legion Post 285. He served four years In the U.S. Air Force.
Surviving are his parent, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Carlton, Galesburg; a brother, Gerry, Galesburg, and two sisters, Mrs. David (Sandra) Powell and Mrs. Jodene Downard, both of Galesburg.
Funeral will be at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Eagle's Cancer Fund, the family said.

Worked with Gene and had lots of laughs with him. He was a hard worker and a great guy. He made the day pass a lot quicker. He was missed by all when God called him home!
