To the clients and friends of Donald E. Bell:

It is with deep regret that we inform you of Don's death last Monday. Although he had serious health problems, his death was sudden and unexpected.

Don had an especially warm feeling for his clients and friends, who’s economic and overall wellbeing always concerned him. We shall all miss him.

Don Swanson, Duane Lawson heard of Don Bell's passing soon after it happened. They were thoughtful enough to let me know. I passed it along for posting on this site but apparently there was trouble confirming. As you can see from the announcement from his employer, sadly it's true that Don has left us. I remember Don most from our baseball playing days, whether in league or sandlot. He was always fun and a positive force in our sports efforts - and if life. Sadly I only got to see him at reunions since he located to the Left Coast, and I seldom go there. I will miss seeing his smile at reunions.

I am sad to learn of the passing of another classmate.  I was always in home room with Donnie, and I remember him being "one of the really nice guys".  Condolances to his close friends in class of '59.

Don was a good friend and a good man. He was also a very talented musician, able to play several instruments. He is missed.

Sad to hear of Don's passing.  It's nice to read what classmates had to say about Don.  Sounds as though there are many memorable times shared during Weston School days and later as we were growing up.  He was a swell guy.
